Who makes the app
Leftover is developed by Yassine, an independent developer (yassine-world.fun). Contact: contact@yassine-world.fun.
Data the app processes
When you import a bank statement (a CSV or OFX file you downloaded from your bank yourself), Leftover reads, on your device:
- the date, amount and description of each transaction;
- balances and the account number, if the file contains them;
- the corrections you make in the app (a bill's category, "it's over", number of installments, chosen period).
This information is used only to display what's left to live on, your fixed bills, your pay-later plans and your charts.
What Leftover does not do
- No collection: nothing is sent to the developer or any third party.
- No Internet access: the app does not declare the
INTERNETpermission. - No connection to your bank, no banking credentials requested.
- No user account, no e-mail address.
- No ads, no trackers, no analytics or crash-reporting tools.
Storage and deletion
Imported transactions and your corrections are saved in the app's private storage on your phone, which other apps cannot access. You can delete everything at any time with Erase my data in the menu, or by uninstalling the app. The original file stays where you saved it: Leftover never modifies it.
Backups
If Android's automatic backup is enabled on your device, the system may include the app's data in your personal backup (Google account). That backup is handled by Android, not by Leftover, and the developer has no access to it.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data about anyone.
Your rights (GDPR)
Since the developer holds no data about you, there is nothing to access, correct or delete on our side: your data lives only on your phone, under your control. If you e-mail us, your message is only used to reply to you.
Changes
If this policy changes (for instance if an optional online feature were ever added), the date at the top will be updated and the app will tell you before you use the new feature.
