Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 18, 2026This Privacy Policy explains how Perfect Tap (the "App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you install and use the App on your mobile device. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Summary
- We do not operate our own servers and do not ask you to create an account with us.
- Game data such as your high score, total plays, and "Remove Ads" entitlement is stored locally on your device only.
- The App uses third-party services (Google AdMob, Google Play Services / Apple Game Center, Google Play Billing / Apple In-App Purchase) that may collect data as described below.
- We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
2. Information stored on your device
The App stores the following information locally on your device using the operating system's standard preferences storage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly submit a score to the leaderboard (see Section 4).
- High score — your best score so far.
- Total plays — number of games played.
- Death counter — a small counter used to decide when to show an interstitial ad.
- Remove Ads flag — whether you have purchased the "Remove Ads" in-app purchase.
Uninstalling the App removes all of this local data.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. AdMob enables the App to show banner, interstitial, and optional rewarded video ads.
To serve ads, AdMob may collect and process information such as:
- device identifiers (including the Advertising ID, or a non-resettable device identifier where the Advertising ID is not available),
- IP address and approximate location derived from it,
- device type, operating system, language, and crash data,
- information about your interactions with ads (views, clicks).
Google's use of this data is described in the Google Ads & Privacy documentation and the Google Privacy Policy.
Personalized vs. non-personalized ads. Where required by law (for example, in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), the App shows a consent form provided by Google's User Messaging Platform the first time you launch the game. You may withdraw or change your choices at any time from the App. If you decline personalization or you are a user in a protected jurisdiction, AdMob will serve non-personalized ads that still require a minimum of technical data (such as the Advertising ID) in order to be delivered and measured.
Opt-out. You can reset or delete your Advertising ID at any time in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and Apple Advertising).
4. Leaderboards (Google Play Games / Apple Game Center)
If you choose to sign in to Google Play Games Services (Android) or Apple Game Center (iOS), your best score may be submitted to the public leaderboard associated with the App so that you can compare with other players. Your player name or gamer tag is shown next to your score.
Sign-in and leaderboard participation are optional. If you do not sign in, no score is submitted. You can sign out at any time from the respective service, and you may request deletion of your leaderboard entry by contacting us at the address below.
The handling of your gamer identity by these services is governed by:
- Google Privacy Policy (Google Play Games Services),
- Apple Privacy Policy (Game Center).
5. In-app purchases
The App offers an optional one-time purchase called Remove Ads. Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing (Android) or Apple In-App Purchase (iOS). We do not receive your payment information (card number, billing address). We only receive a confirmation that a specific product ID was purchased, which is used to unlock the ad-free experience locally on your device.
6. Permissions
- Internet — required to serve ads, sign in to Play Games / Game Center, and verify purchases.
- Vibration — used to provide subtle haptic feedback on hits and misses. No data leaves the device.
- Advertising ID (Android) — used by AdMob to serve ads. You can reset or limit this at any time in your device settings.
7. Children
The App is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
8. Data retention
Data stored locally on your device remains until you uninstall the App or clear the App's storage. Data held by third-party services (such as Google AdMob, Google Play Games or Apple Game Center) is retained according to their own policies.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to processing or to request portability. To exercise any of these rights with respect to data processed by this App, contact us at the address below. For data processed by third parties (AdMob, Play Games, Game Center), please refer directly to those services.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be highlighted within the App where reasonably possible.
