By installing or using the Alarm Mission Android application ("the App"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. The App
Alarm Mission is a free alarm-clock app that requires you to complete one or more "missions" to dismiss the alarm. It is provided free of charge, with no advertising and no in-app purchases.
2. No warranty & alarm reliability
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While it is built to be a reliable alarm, mobile operating systems (especially aggressive battery optimization, "Do Not Disturb" modes, silent/vibrate settings, manufacturer power management, or the device being powered off, muted, or out of battery) can prevent any alarm app from ringing.
You should not rely on the App as your only alarm for safety-critical or time-critical situations. We are not liable for missed alarms, oversleeping, or any resulting loss or damage. Always keep a backup alarm for anything important.
3. Acceptable use
- Use the App for personal, lawful purposes only.
- Do not reverse engineer, redistribute, resell, or modify the App except as permitted by applicable law.
- Do not use the App in any way that could harm it, its users, or any third party.
4. Intellectual property
The App, its name, icon, design, and bundled content are owned by the developer. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App.
5. Donations
Donations made through Ko-fi are entirely voluntary gifts to support development. They are not a purchase, do not unlock features, and are generally non-refundable. Payments are handled by Ko-fi and its payment providers under their own terms; we never receive your payment details.
6. Third-party services
If you obtained the App from an app store (e.g., Google Play), that store's terms also apply to your download and updates. External links (such as the donation page) open in your browser and are governed by the respective third party's terms and privacy policies.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss arising from the use of or inability to use the App, including missed alarms.
8. Changes
These Terms may be updated as the App evolves. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence of the developer, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory local consumer law applies.
